Athena's Men

In her name, we are bound to fight for freedom, equality and justice. This is our pledge, our bond, our birthright. She is the Goddess of the State - a concept like Columbia - for Columbia and Athena are one.
In the Iliad, it is Athena who is the Goddess of the ferocious and implacable spirit, but, wherever she can be found, she only is a warrior to defend the State and the native land against the enemies coming from outside.
From that spirit is the flowing of the river and the flowering of civilization. The State is Order drawn from the nature of the human spirit; we desire justice and right and only a few truly seek the Darkness. Against them we are pledged to fight, using all our arts and all our artifice to awaken humankind.
She is, above all, the Goddess of the City, the protectress of civilized life, of artesian activities, and of agriculture. She also invented the horse-bit, which, for the first time, tamed horses, allowing men to use them.
The City is the cradle of Freedom, because in the City, men mingle and learn deep truths of one another. This is not to be mistaken for the blasphemies hurled at the triumphant conquering societies of the past. Hardly so. The behavior of aristocrats is perverse always - let it never be doubted. The most powerful and the most monied are the same, and they are deeply twisted. The warrior who wins through the quick storming of killing and the long plodding trial of battles is a common man. He is not the giant or the dwarf, neither the perfect killer. He is the desperate man who will not yield; he loves his children, his women, his household, his country and his God.
Athena is the favorite daughter of Zeus; and he permits her to use his insignia: the terrible shield, Aegis and his devastating weapon, the Thunderbolt.
As she shields us and arms us, so may we uphold her virtues and her wisdom. We do not worship her, for we know that she was never real. But she is the essence of the Hope and the Liberty of free societies that bind together free people.
She is "the bright eyed". She is the first of the three virgin Goddesses, also known as Maiden -  Parthenos - and from this name came the Parthenon.
Purity is far better for our sons and daughters than the alternatives that are offered by the darkness.
For the poets she is the incarnation of Wisdom, Reason and Purity.
The key virtues are necessary if we would unlock the gates of the Kingdom of Liberty. Once, there was a shining city on a hill. Now, the light is dimmed. Let courage spark in the breast of every Hoplite, and let free men take up their household arms. Even though the enemy is very great in number, arms, power and training, he cannot overcome those who are set forth by the One God in His glory on a mission of Liberation. Where the enemy is strong, we will be cunning. Where he is unsuspecting, we will strike. Where he is defensive, we will appear as friends. When he is wracked with paranoia and sets his spies everywhere, we will be without cause or name. We will not exist. When the time comes for action, we will whisper ancient words and the darkness will tremble.
Athens is her city and its Democracy is her gift; the olive tree, created by her, is her tree and it evokes prosperity and faith in the fruits of the earth; the owl is consecrated to her.

We are the Owls. We have been defending Democracy since the days of old Athens. We are called Athena's Men, but we are far more than an old mystery cult. The occult forces that the NWO and the so-called Illuminati represent are our natural enemies, and they are no different in form and function now than were those who moved Xerxes, Attila and Temujin before. We do not fear them or their familiars. We too are wizards.

Our mission is Liberation.

Our mission is Enlightenment.

Our time is Now.
